starting to head north across the top you can see what the trail is like.  Darger Peak is the high peak at the left.

Bad sign.  I immediately hit a snow bank.  I crossed this one safely but most are much steeper and more dangerous and I wouldn't cross without crampons or an ice ax.  I had to do a lot of extra hiking to get around the snow.
