Down the north side of Darger peak the trail again enters the snow.  Thurston Peak is the high peak in the center.  Ben Lomond Peak is in the far background to the left.  My route will follow along the ridge and cut just under the sliver of snow on the west flank of Thurston Peak and then drop into Thurston Cirque.
